hospital
S-I-L got into hospital lately, vomitting every 10min & not even a sip of milo could be consumed w/out a bigger volume of sour, brown fluid puked out...went visit her with Bu & we both concluded that it seems tough for her, considering her pregnancy at stake. Kinda unlucky tat she wasn't suspected of food poisoning earlier on as her vommiting symptom could be due to her pregnancy as well...duh..no wonder she's pissed with the gynae, whom i initially thought looked dignified & wise coz of his head of white hair. Can empathise how bad the pain mus be to have resulted in her reacions, coupled with the frustration that nothing could be done...
Interesting ward...a baby keeps crying under ultra-violet light, which i only got to know from a colleague later that he/she might be in pain or discomfort. Poor kid. Saw a father, dressed casually in soccer jersey and berms looking slightly tired yet seemingly happy walking along the corridor of the ward, appearing pretty at home. And a few children and a mother leaving the ward, mumbling to her kidz. Then 2 deliverymen holding baskets of flowers and foodstuff, on their way to send their well-wishes to their recipients. Some cute kiddy posters on the walls which Bu likes a lot as he revisits viewing them and insists on reading out the wordings. And of coz the cool nurses who kept telling S-I-L tat her vomitting is 'usual', non-suspecting of food poisoning as well..Well at least one was kind enough to offer her sweets and some comforting words...which helped i believe.
